Play Space

Hey ladies! Thank you everyone who came out to play on a sunny Friday in January to the play space at Shoppingtown Mall. We had such a blast climbing all over and sliding, and running, and of course EATING. You ladies are the best bakers anywhere. It was some fun fellowship and can't wait to see you all Friday at MEET!

Welcome Back!

Happy Fall Everyone! It was so great to be back together at our usual time and place. We catched up on our lives and marveled at how many things have changed over the summer. We were very happy to welcome two new little ones to the group, congratulations new moms! We hope today was a good diversion for you.

Our project today with the kids was candy apples, and suprisingly to me, went over well with very little mess and stickiness. Plus, the apple were delicious. The kids also went home with a balloon and playdough. Did anyone else have trouble putting their child down for a nap-without the balloon?!

Taking turns fishing for apples

Just happy to play

A bunch of balloons=hours of toddler entertainment

MEET goes gourmet!

Alright, for you ladies who missed the Make and Take night, it was awesome! We had a fabulous time in the kitchen of Make and Take Gourmet in Cicero. We picked out some delicious dishes, followed the directions, and voila, went home with something good to eat for a week. The staff was super-friendly and helpful, and even treated us with pizza and cookies. We relaxed and chatted in their "lounge". I think all of us would agree that it was well worth our time and money, and even better, we got to be with good friends! Take care everyone, and see you Friday June 6th for our MEETing.
