MEET goes gourmet!
Alright, for you ladies who missed the Make and Take night, it was awesome! We had a fabulous time in the kitchen of Make and Take Gourmet in Cicero. We picked out some delicious dishes, followed the directions, and voila, went home with something good to eat for a week. The staff was super-friendly and helpful, and even treated us with pizza and cookies. We relaxed and chatted in their "lounge". I think all of us would agree that it was well worth our time and money, and even better, we got to be with good friends! Take care everyone, and see you Friday June 6th for our MEETing.

May MEETing
Okay, I know it's a little late to be posting about our may meeting, but I do have some good pictures from my phone and some good news.
A week after our meeting we found out that Peggy and the baby will try to make it full-term, we are so thrilled! The Lord is truly at work in her life, continue to keep her in your prayers.

Hope everyone had a great month, the next MEET is Friday June 6th.

MEET goes to Story time!
Hi moms! I hope you're checking this site now. We'll be having more new posts soon. Today we met at Barnes and Noble in Clay for story time. We learned about how to get attention the right way from Minerva, and how to be ourselves from a happy little frog. Everyone made a craft and the kids loved it, mostly because it included glue. Then we made our way over the the Thomas the Train train table and were able to socialize while the kids choo-chooed their way around the track.
The kids are making matching socks.

Ben would stay here day if he could.

Just few reminders: tomorrow is parent's night out at the church! We hope you're planning a night out with the hubby, you deserve it! Next Friday is the May MEET get together, same time, same place. See you there!

Announcements Week of April 7th
Hey everyone! First of all, thank you to all who came last Friday to our monthly get together. We had a great time together, did some shopping, and all went home with a new used book to read. I've already started mine and really appreciate having something new to read. The kids really enjoyed the ball pit, so thanks Kerri for bringing that in. If you have any suggestions for activities for the kids let us know.
Some announcements: there is going to be a Parents Night Out at the NCAG church on Friday April 25th from 6:00 to 8:30. This is for children up to the age of 12. I know there are a lot of great activities planned to keep them busy. Also, the adults working are fully qualified to be with your children and have received their children's workers papers. This night is open to anyone in the community so spread the word. I'm sure we all know a couple moms (and dads) who could use a free night away. Yes, free. There is no cost to you.
As soon as I can we will be putting up our prayer requests so we can pray at home for those in need. We can always be supporting each other! Aren't you excited about this group, praise the Lord for providing us with such great female friends!

Our second outing is Thursday April 24th at the Barnes and Noble in Clay on Rt. 31. They have a great story time for the kids in the childrens department. There's also a Starbucks in the store, so we can have a snack too! We will be there from 10-11.

MEET is on the web!
Hello Everyone! Welcome to the blog that is just for you. We have created this blog site to keep everyone updated on what is going on with our MEET group. We will offer a write up and pictures from our last event. You can also leave a comment for us to read.
For anyone who does not know who we are: we are a group of moms who have begun meeting together at our church, North Central Assembly of God in Liverpool/North Syracuse NY. We meet the first Friday of every month with our kids (and hopefully at some point without them occasionally). We enjoy fellowship, coffee, snacks, and seeing our kids have fun together. We have many activities in the upcoming months, so keep posted! As always, please feel free to invite your mommy friends to this group. We are a part of the church, but we feel strongly to keep this group open to anyone who is interested.
