Wow, so do you ever have one of those days when you wonder why you do anything and everything sort of blows up in your face? If your dealing with this, and am sure you do too sometimes, there is somewhere to turn.
Psalm 28 6-9 Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and shield; my heart trusts in Him and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever.
Sometimes we stumble, or fall, or maybe just feel down. Please remember that there is a Heavenly Father out there who loves us very much and is more than ready to pick up! He'll be our strength and shield and we'll carry on. Try to give Him a song this week of the heart felt joy and thanks in you.
We are a group of moms who meet together once a month at our church to provide a chance for us to get to know one another better, share our parenting experiences, let our kids play, and have a good time!

Devoted: Week 2
Devotions this week come from "Daily Devotions for Mothers"
Text: 1 Samuel 1:28 "Now I am giving him to the Lord, and he will belong to the Lord his whole life."
Have you truly given your childen to God? We trust God with everything in our lives, but when it comes to our children, we want to take care of them. But being in the center of God's will is the safest place a person can be. Giving kids to God is the best thing you can do for them.

Devoted!
Hey, moms! We at MEET have decided it's time for a little more encouraging, and there's no better place to turn than God's word. So from now on, every week there will be a new devotional that will hopefully lift our spirits and bring us closer to our Lord.
Our text: Philippians 1 3-11
I thank God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart, for whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God's grace with me. God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in the knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ-to the glory and praise of God.
Ladies, if Paul can feel this way about his friends while he is in jail not knowing when he will be free, we can certainly say a little prayer during our busy day for each other. And his prayer is just the right example-that we love more, that we understand more, and that we can remain without sin so there's no guilt weighing us down. We have enough on our plates already! This is possible!
Prayer: Dear Father, you are love, please love on us this week as we are doing our duties, love on us when we are in tears, love on us when we are exhausted, love on us when we are joyful-so we can be thankful to you in all that you do for us. Then, let us pass this love on to others, for your glory alone. Amen.
If you would like to contribute a weekly devotion let us know! God can use you in many ways!
